After graduating from Stony Brook she furthered her journey at Touro College to study physical therapy. Celeste’s passion for physical therapy led to the inception of Tri Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness, a very successful outpatient physical therapy facility, servicing her local community. Celeste is proud of the environment she and her staff are able to create for healing and wellness. The individualized care they provide makes rehabilitation a pleasure for each of their patients.

Margee Purdy, PT

Margee has over 30 years experience in physical therapy. She started her career in Colorado in neuro rehabilitation, then switched her focus to orthopedics and sports medicine, living and working in some of the largest ski resorts in the Rockies. In these settings she was able to work with all levels of athletes, from recreational enthusiasts to professional and Olympic athletes. Margee continued her career in orthopedics in New England, becoming the program manager of a large outpatient clinic in the suburbs of Boston. She there managed a group of physical and occupational therapists who offered programs in sports medicine, pediatrics, cognitive rehabilitation, and work conditioning. In 2002 Margee relocated to the Three Village Area and has continued her work in outpatient orthopedics as well as home care while she raised her family. She has been a part of the Tri Fit family for 8 years.

Margee uses a holistic approach to each patient and looks at each person's whole body and movement patterns rather than one particular region. Her treatment focuses on manual therapy to improve soft tissue and joint mobility, and therapeutic exercise to maintain mobility, and improve strength and stability. In addition to her work as a PT, Margee is also a group fitness instructor, teaching spin and strength classes in local area gyms. Margee and her husband Dave have 3 children all who were involved in athletics through Ward Melville High School and beyond through college.

In her spare time, Margee enjoys reading, skiing in the winter, enjoying the beaches in the summer, and traveling to root on her children's college lacrosse teams.
