Celeste Rice, MPT

Celeste began her journey in physical therapy in 1981 as a candy striper at North Shore Hospital — and she's never looked back. With decades of experience in the field, she has worked in every level of physical therapy, from patient care to leadership.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Athletic Training from Stony Brook University, where she was also a full-time athlete. She later pursued her physical therapy education at Touro College, laying the foundation for her lifelong career.

Celeste has practiced in a wide range of settings, including Stony Brook University Outpatient Physical Therapy, Southside Health Institute, home care, and pediatric and infant care. A career highlight came in 2016, when she achieved a lifelong dream by traveling to the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, where she provided care to elite athletes at the Aquatic Center.

Celeste’s deep passion for healing and movement led her to establish Tri Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness, a thriving outpatient clinic devoted to personalized care and community wellness. She takes great prde in the supportive, welcoming environment she and her team have built — where each patient feels seen, supported, and motivated on their journey to recovery.

Margee Purdy, PT

Margee brings over 30 years of experience in physical therapy, with a rich background that spans neurologic rehabilitation, orthopedics, and sports medicine. She began her career in Colorado, working in neuro rehab before transitioning to orthopedics in some of the most renowned ski resorts in the Rockies. There, she treated athletes of all levels — from recreational skiers to Olympic and professional competitors.

Her career then took her to New England, where she became Program Manager of a large outpatient clinic in the suburbs of Boston. She led a multidisciplinary team of physical and occupational therapists offering programs in sports medicine, pediatrics, cognitive rehab, and work conditioning.

In 2002, Margee relocated to the Three Village Area and has since continued her work in outpatient orthopedics and home care, while raising her family. For the past eight years, she’s been a valued member of the Tri Fit Physical Therapy & Wellness team.

Margee takes a holistic, whole-body approach to physical therapy. She evaluates movement patterns rather than isolated issues, using manual therapy to improve joint and soft tissue mobility and therapeutic exercise to enhance strength, stability, and long-term function.

Outside the clinic, Margee is a group fitness instructor, teaching spin and strength classes at local gyms. She and her husband Dave have three children, all of whom played athletics through Ward Melville High School and into college lacrosse.

In her spare time, Margee enjoys reading, skiing in the winter, beach days in the summer, and traveling to cheer on her kids’ college teams.

Annie Neisen, PT, DPT

Annie earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University in 2013 and brings over 12 years of hands-on clinical experience to the practice. Her expertise includes advanced manual therapy training through the Institute of Physical Art (IPA), pelvic health education through Herman & Wallace, visceral mobilization techniques from the Barral Institute, and specialized pelvic floor training at the Mayo Clinic.

In 2023, Annie became a Board-Certified Women’s Health Clinical Specialist (WCS) through the American Physical Therapy Association — a distinction that highlights her deep commitment to women’s pelvic health and rehabilitation.

In addition to her physical therapy credentials, Annie has a background in yoga and is a certified sex educator, allowing her to bring a holistic, trauma-informed, and compassionate approach to patient care.
